Today, I’ll try the news reporting post theme.
An Amazon México does exist here in México, with it’s corresponding Amazon Prime and Amazon Video, just like the ‘Baseline’ Amazon USA. But there is no Amazon Fresh yet.
So Walmart [México], the biggest competitor Amazon has in the Internet Shopping front, has taken the first step towards a Fresh-like service.
Online shopping in Mexico was not as big as now, even as recently as few years ago, for fear of Credit Card fraud and low faith on the delivery companies.
Of course, Walmart is not the only one competing against Amazon in this, but, if what Amazon did for the standard Online Shopping can be repeated in the Produce section, I’m all for it.
